Every Orbit is composed by hundreds of impossibly detailed 4K macro images of a physical master.

THE ORBITS PROCESS
Orbits are the result of a patent stratification process. What is unique is they all exist as real life sculptures, locked inside the Orbits Vault, located near our Atelier in Milan.
OUR PROCESS
CONCEPT IDEATION
Orbits are the result of a patent stratification process, functioning as tools for experimentation, slowly gaining mass, gravity and shape while materials, technologies and visual references connect to form the concept of each unique Orbit.
CRAFTING AN ORBIT
Components, materials and manufacturing processes are assigned via a pre set matrix of possibility, sourcing from our ever growing archive of digitised building blocks. Moving an Orbit from the imaginary realm into the real one.
PHYSICAL PRESERVATION
Physical masters of each Craft Orbit are stored in a dedicated humidity controlled vault near our Atelier in Milan. Orbits rest in the dark except for periodic maintenance and rare exhibitions. Laying in waiting for their future owners.
4K PHOTOGRAMMETRY
Each component is weighted, shaped and then placed into a custom built robotic photogrammetry chamber.. Each Orbit Craft is made up of up to 6,000 macro photos of its life physical master. The transition from atoms to bits is complete.
DIGITIZATION
By capturing thousands of images of each physical master, a high-resolution 3D model carrying all the textures and morphological characteristics of the original master is created. The Orbit is finally born and ready for minting.
NFT MINTING
Orbits are minted on the Ethereum Blockchain, a decentralised, distributed and censorship-resistant platform that immutably records and preserves ownership, while the files are forever stored on IPFS for future access and use by owners in perpetuity. 
ROAD TO AUTOMATA
The ultimate goal is to develop a fully autonomous production line, for the perpetuous craft of digital, and physical rarities. The Automata collection.
